NEW THIS YEAR:  ALL REGISTRATIONS WILL OCCUR ONLINE THROUGH REGATTA CENTRAL.  VISIT THE HOMEPAGE TO COMPLETE THE MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION AND TO REGISTER FOR ALL CLUB PROGRAMS (MASTERS AND YOUTH).  YOU CAN ALSO FOLLOW THE PROCEDURE DESCRIBED IN ANY DOCUMENTS MAILED TO YOU.


Boat Use - Rack Space - River Access - Fun
These are a few of the benefits of NRR Membership.

Join us for the pleasure, the challenge, the exhilaration, the exercise, and the camaraderie of rowing on the Navesink River.

We have membership options for experienced scullers; relative newcomers; college students; private boat owners; even non-rowers who want to support what we do.

Options for Adult Rowers (18 and older)

Boat Use Membership ($400)
For adults (over 18) with sculling experience, this membership entitles you to row NRR-owned shells (appropriate to your skill level), use NRR facilities, and participate in NRR activities for the entire rowing season - May 1 through November 1.

singles and sky.JPGCollege Student Boat Use Membership  ($250)
For college students, including entering freshman, who want to row NRR-owned shells (appropriate to their skill level), use NRR facilities, and participate in NRR activities while they are home from school. Must be 18 or older with sculling experience.

Our Two-Day Sculling Intensive offers college sweep rowers instruction to prepare for the switch to sculling in singles this summer.

Private Boat Owner--Storage Privileges Only ($260)
For active rowers who own their own boats to store them on NRR racks, keep oars in NRR's shed, and launch from the NRR site from May 1 through November 1. Space is limited and intended for boats that are used regularly. See current policy.

Private Boat Owner--Storage plus occasional use of NRR boats  ($400) 
This membership includes rack space, oar storage and launching privileges plus an opportunity to occasionally row NRR boats (appropriate to members' skill level). Space is limited and intended for boats that are used regularly. See current policy.

Before taking out NRR boats, new members must go through a brief orientation and assessment of their sculling abilities.

Refresher sessions are available for both new and returning members who feel a little rusty and want to reorient themselves before getting back on the water.

Masters Crew activities offer learning and social opportunities for Male and Female rowers, 27 and older.

 
Supporting member: ($35)
Receive NRR e-newsletters and updates; participate in NRR social functions.

HOW TO JOIN NRR

To become an NRR member, you must

1) complete registration through Regatta Central and agree to the NRR waiver

2) pay applicable fees in full, 

3) adhere to all NRR policies and procedures, and

4) fulfill a Service Requirement -10 hours helping to keep NRR running smoothly and our rowers safe. (Supporting members are exempt from this requirement.)
