2012 Spring Crew news available NOW!

Youth rowing has made quite a splash over the past few years. Around the world and here at NRR, the sport's popularity among 14 - 18 year olds continues to grow.  And so does the demand for effective, affordable and fun youth rowing programs. We offer two kinds:

  • laughing juniors.jpgSummer Programs provide opportunities for Novice youth to learn how to row; for Intermediate level youth - those with some rowing experience - to become better rowers; and for more experienced, Advanced youth rowers to hone their skills and prepare for competition.  Learn more:
  • Spring and Fall Crew programs make it possible for area youth whose schools do not offer rowing as a varsity or club sport to row competitively. Youth who have previously participated in Intermediate or Advanced summer camps try out for seats and are selected based on their strength, stamina and rowing technique. Learn more:

Eligibility: To participate in NRR youth programs, boys and girls must be at least 14 years of age and entering the 9th grade (for summer programs) or in high school (for competitive fall and spring crews.)
